Hello Lovely People & Happy Tuesday to Ya!
I hope your week is off to a productive start!! I wanted to share some of the photos Dylan and I took from Northern California last weekend, in this Lovestitch maxi dress! By now, you know how much I am obsessed with anything floral… I’ve pretty much loved all things floral since I was a little girl and I don’t anticipate this going away anytime soon. (;
When an outfit is both floral AND really comfortable, I know it’s the perfect fit. That’s exactly how this Lovestitch dress is. The dress has a tie waist that gathers in the back to make it 100% adjustable! It’s also very breathable with the cutest open back, which you can see in some of these photos.
Every single time I come home from an extended trip to Northern CA…. I swear I go through a few days of withdrawal! I obviously miss my family and friends from home. I also miss the simplest of things about Northern California, such as the way the air smells, the sunsets, and the friendly faces I see in the grocery store! I just love it so much.
Yesterday and today have been “those days” where I am reminiscing/ missing it. Another thing that makes me appreciate the beauty of Northern California?? Editing these blog photos!! I mean, look at the combination of the flowers and vineyards! Way too pretty for words. 🙂
Earlier in the day before we had this shoot, we went wine tasting around Dry Creek Valley (one of my favorite things to do). We visited my family’s winery Dry Creek Vineyard, which is always like visiting my second home! The staff is so amazing and personable. They always make us, and anyone/everyone who steps through the doors, feel so welcomed and loved! It was also a perfect day for a few glasses of their incredibly crisp, Rosé!
Our second stop for tasting was to Truett Hurst Winery, which is another charming winery in Dry Creek Vally. After the two wineries, Dylan and I did the shoot for this blog post and then headed into Healdsburg for dinner. If you follow me on Instagram, you know my true love affair with the restaurant Baci!! It is HANDS DOWN my favorite restaurant of all time… While I was in Healdsburg, I ate at Baci once a week! If I had unlimited funds for pasta (lol), I could eat there every single DAY! I am not even exaggerating! All of the foods are incredibly fresh, farm to table food. They use organic ingredients and their pasta recipies will blow your mind! My absolute favorite meal is the “Tagliatelle con Capasante e Funghi,” which is a scallop and mushroom pasta. They are amazing because they always make mine gluten and dairy free to accommodate my food allergies without even batting an eye. I also love to start with the Insalata Rucola. Visit this restaurant and you WON’T be sorry! I promise you will be hooked for life!!
Some of my other favorite stops in my home town of Healdsburg are The Shed, Flying Goat Coffee, and of COURSE the Dry Creek General Store!
I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week! I’m home for a few days before I head to San Diego for a good friend’s birthday.
