My Look: Teddy Coat | Jeans | Top | Bag
I have a confession, I’m obsessed with this teddy coat and I don’t care who knows it. If you’re part of the Instagram fam, you’ve probably heard me go on and on and on about this coat over on IG Stories. I decided that I really needed to bring my ranting to the blog because I’ve probably talked your ear off over there. (;
Ok ok, so the teddy coat. Teddy coats seem to be everywhere this year!! This is one trend that I can absolutely get onboard with, simply because my goal in life is to be as comfortable as possible. Preferably while still looking chic. However, if I have the coice of comfort or cuteness, I usually will choose comfort. Anytime that an outfit or article of clothing can be both comfortable AND cute, count me in.
There is also nothing I love more than a great deal. I do believe in investing in clothing items that I will wear for years and years to come but try and balance that out by finding lots of the “trendy” items I purchase on affordable clothing sites. One of my favorites for finding trendy/ affordable pieces, is Amazon.com. I’m honestly not even sure how I started shopping for clothing on Amazon, but I am so glad that I did. This season, I’ve purchased many of my mules, slides, and coats from Amazon and haven’t had to send anything back yet. Knock on wood!!!
Now let’s get down to the meat of this post, this teddy coat. I need to start by saying that I have barely taken it off since it arrived in the mail. I’ve literally worn it to the gym, on dates, to the store, in this blog shoot, EVERYWHERE. It’s become a part of me at this point, lol. In all honesty, it’s been my most purchased item off my Instagram and I am so glad it’s been well loved. I love it so much, I just ordered it in black as well. The best part? It’s $35!! I’ve seen so many teddy coats this season for well over $100 dollars and was just not going to spend that much for such a trendy item!
The OTHER best part is that this coat honestly feels SO soft and cozy. I’ll end by saying that this post comes with a warning: if you order this coat you will seriously neglect your other jackets and coats in the coming weeks (completely serious ha).
I will say that it takes about 3 weeks to come in the mail, but is totally worth the wait!
