Summertime Style

My Look: Yellow Dress, Bag (Similar), Sandals
Stepping out of my comfort zone is something I find very important. From planning a trip somewhere new, to styling an outfit that’s a little different than usual, my goal is to never become stagnant. If there’s anything I’ve learned the last few years, it’s that life it too darn short not to be BOLD. You know??
Hey Friends!
This weekend we headed down to Orange County to see friends and family. Although I LOVE living back in Northern California, I also love Southern California. It is seriously such a fun place to visit because there is so much to do. Orange County has endless healthy restaurants and is basically a playground for someone who loves wellness (me & I know lots of you guys)!! You can go for a beach run and then grab breakfast over at True Foods Kitchen (one of my favorite restaurants) followed by a freeze from Pressed Juicery, and then head over to YogaWorks for a lunchtime flow class.
I made a serious effort not to be working on my phone the whole weekend & to really be present with friends and family so I thought it would be fun to put together this post showing some of my favorite spots! I also will include links to all the outfits I wore during our long weekend getaway. The weather was STUNNING, so it really felt like summer!
Hi Friends!
It’s been a few weeks since I returned home from Kauai and I feel like I’ve now had enough time to really narrow down the places I want to include in my Kauai travel guide! Our trip was such a blast and we did so much in the time frame of a little over a week that I wanted to make sure I gave myself time to really process all the stops and pick my absolute favorites to share on the blog. This guide is going to include my favorite places that we ate, drank, swam, and visited! You know I’m big into wellness, so consider this kind of like your healthy/ active living guide to all things Kauai. During our time on the island, we stayed in Poipu on the South Shore because it was wintertime and we were wanting to avoid it being very rainy. My family has also stayed on the North Shore before, which they absolutely loved. However, it’s super rainy in the wintertime so we decided to stay in Poipu which ended up working out perfectly! I wanted to keep this post on the shorter side, so I only included the things we did that I absolutely LOVED. Hope you enjoy!!
