About 2 months ago, I was traveling a lot and was having some issues with my gut health! I was eating out in restaurants all over and had started to notice my gut health wasn’t in the best place. I heard a girlfriend rave about some supplements she was taking from a brand called KaraMD so I deiced to run the brand and products by my functional doctor! This is how I find about 99% of supplements that I end up using and loving and make sure to always clear them with my doctor first.
I started taking ProBio Amplify which is a powerful probiotic that contains “11 Science-Backed Probiotic Strains†” and have started to notice big benefits!! I feel less bloated, more energized, and TMI but digestion has really improved. I also went down a rabbit hole learning about “lectins” in foods and realized that I have been having a hard time digesting them! I added in “Lectin Guard” to help my body digest the lectins in foods -ESPECIALLY when eating out and I’m not 100% about ingredients in the meals I’m ordering! I learned that “lectins are found in just about every food we eat, and it’s almost impossible to avoid them. They cause issues with our health by “sticking” to the gut and preventing nutrient absorption.”
Lectins can cause inflammation in the gut and worsen symptoms of IBS, etc. Adding in “Lectin Guard” has made a real difference for me in conjunction with the probiotic because it is re-populating the healthy bacteria in my gut and fighting off bad bacteria along with working to balance things out.

Some of my other favorite healthy habits for gut healing are food combining, getting plenty of water with electrolytes, trying to get 10k steps per day, and cooking my meals at home when I can. I’m also. big fan of parasite cleansing yearly with herbs to really clean things out. Again, always ask a functional doctor before starting new herbs or supplements!
