My Look: Top, Jeans, Shoes, Sunnies
Hi Loves,
Today happens to be part two of the Valentine’s Day outfits I’ll be sharing on the blog! By now, you probably know that I am in love with feminine style which always includes anything that has a ruffle sleeve. I love purchasing pieces that have a statement sleeve because I find that I feel just a little bit more “put together” when I’m wearing them. I was doing a bit of shopping in Nordstrom gathering some of my favorite picks for the month of LOVE and instantly knew I needed to bring home this pink satin blouse. If you’re looking for a way to spice up your spring wardrobe, I highly recommend adding in a few statement sleeve pieces like this blouse. It’s hard to try one on and not instantly feel an extra burst of confidence and femininity!
I also am always on the hunt for a good pair of jeans, preferably ones that are under $100. I felt like I totally SCORED when I came across this pair! They are incredibly stretchy, mid-rise, and squeeze you in all the right places. I wore them this past weekend when we visited a local organic drive through (how cool that this now exists, right!?!) and was even still comfortable after eating a VERY large amount. LOL is it normal that this is how I measure if I’m a fan of jeans or not!?! HA! Anyway, these jeans passed the test and are a must-have. I also love the drop-hem that is cute but still subtle and not overly trendy.
In other news, this morning I went to look at another home here in Sonoma County. It was advertised as a “charming cottage” and turned out to be a dark, damp, and dreary cottage. I’m finding out that many of the home ads are actually QUITE different in person than they seem to be online!! HA sounds almost like online dating or something, doesn’t it!? I arrived at the home and tried to keep an open mind but ultimately decided that because we are currently renting, it doesn’t really make sense to put extra money into a place to fix it up. The home hunt continues!! Luckily, we aren’t in too much of a hurry because we are staying with family here.
Next week on the blog, will be my Valentine’s outfits that are a bit fancier for a night out or even dinner at home when you want to get dressed up. Bring on the dresses!
