Hey Hey friends!
Today we’re talking workouts… And not just ANY workouts. We’re talking ***FREE workouts!! About a year ago & a half ago, around the time I started working from home full-time, I realized that I needed to up my efficiency and give myself the option to workout from home when I didn’t have time to make it to the gym or to yoga. Fast forward to today, I don’t even really enjoy going to the gym anymore because I MUCH prefer to workout at home.
I’m not a fan of the gym for a few reasons… The number one reason is because I’m not really down with the comparison and “looking over the shoulder” that happens in the gym. Personally, I don’t love feeling like I’m being “watched” while I’m sweating like a pig. This is not at all because I care what I look like in the gym, I do not. I just really don’t enjoy that sometimes the gym feels like a big competition where everyone has one eye on one another and one eye on what they’re doing! Maybe I haven’t found the right gym?? I’m sure I’ll go through another phase of life where I get a gym membership, but for now (and for the last year or so) I’ve been absolutely loving working out from home! No sharing sweaty equipment and no wait time to take a shower post workout. Such a win!
SO, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite FREE workouts that I practice on a regular basis, and that you too can practice, just by visiting good old Youtube!! I am pretty positive that I want to have my own yoga/ fitness channel someday soon, but for now I’m going to show you all my favorite videos that I complete right here in my office. Most of these videos are 30 minutes or less! I love it because I can always fit my workout in. It’s one of my favorite ways to breakup the day while working from home and to increase strength. Like I said, I’ve been doing these for a little over a year and have noticed HUGE improvements in my strength!!

Youtube Workouts
1. Gym Ra 30 Minute Full-Body #1
The Gym Ra videos are some of the first videos I found when I started working out from home. I love them! They get you sweating but don’t go too fast! The girl in the video is adorable and very encouraging. I kinda wish I was working out in her location, HA! You will see what I mean when you watch.
2. Gym Ra 30 Minute Full-Body #2
Again, she’s very encouraging! These videos helped me to begin to get my cardio endurance up when all I had been doing was yoga for the last few years. They’re quick and easy and I love them because they get you sweating but aren’t so challenging that you can’t move after, or feel overly exhausted.
3. Gym Ra 30 Minute Full-Body #3
You get it, I love her videos. 🙂 I usually turn down the audio and listen to my own music during the workout because I’m not a huge fan of the music in the videos.
4. Gym Ra 30 Minute Full-Body #4
Fourth and final video I use on the Gym Ra channel. Can’t wait to hear what you think of these videos!
5. Sarah’s Day 15 Minute Ab Workout
I first came across this video a few months ago and I instantly because obsessed with this Australian beauty! I LOVE her workouts, what she stands for, and her positive personality. I also love how fast this 15 minutes goes by. You will SWEAT and your abs will be burning!!
6. Sarah’s Day 15 Minute Full-Body Workout
THIS workout is challenging! The first time I did it, I couldn’t believe it was only 15 minutes long. This is definitely a HIIT workout and will get your blood pumping. After one time, I was hooked on how amazing I felt post workout! I love to do the ab workout and this workout together if I’m feeling extra motivated.
I hope you grow to love these videos as much as I do! The best part is that you can get an amazing workout in, for free, in the comfort of your own home. I’m also extremely grateful for these free videos because they led me to my current workout routine, SWEAT by Kayla. I’ve basically done variations of these youtube workouts for the last year, to get used to HIIT (high intensity interval training) workouts. I’ve grown to love them and to REALLY love feeling strong! About a month ago, I decided to invest in the Kayla workout. It’s amazing because you download the app for $20 a month and it’s literally like having a personal trainer on your iPhone or iPad. The HIIT workouts are 28 minutes three days a week, and are perfectly planned out for you. There’s a leg day, arms and abs day, and full-body day. It’s felt amazing to start this routine because I remember a time when I definitely wasn’t able to complete even one or two burpees! Feeling stronger over time and seeing my strength progress is something I enjoy.
I hope you find these free workouts as valuable and helpful as I have! Hopefully one day soon, I’ll have my own free youtube workouts up and running. 🙂
