Hoping your week is off to a lovely start! I was playing a bit of catch up yesterday as I was out of town in La Jolla last week, celebrating a good friend’s 25th birthday! It was an exciting trip for multiple reasons, the biggest one being that one of my best friends just moved back to California from Nashville!! Yippie!!!
She literally just got back a week ago, & we had been counting down the days until our trip to beautiful La Jolla to celebrate her birthday!
I have such a warm place in my heart for La Jolla because it was the place that Dylan and I celebrated our first anniversary. 🙂
This was my first time staying at an Air B&B in La Jolla, and I have to say it was truly adorable!
When I saw the decor and view from the home, I knew I had to blog about it. (;
We arrived on Wednesday afternoon and stayed until Friday and were determined to soak in the beautiful La Jolla scenery as much as possible! On Wednesday night (my friend’s birthday), we ate at a restaurant called Piatti, which is really yummy Italian food in downtown La Jolla. I do have to say that ordering dairy/gluten free at Piatti…. I noticed a difference. My favorite thing about Baci (my all time favorite Italian restaurant in my home town), is that you CAN’T even tell the difference! The rest of our time in La Jolla was spent sipping wine on the STUNNING balcony you can see in these photos, laying around in our pj’s, making Risotto, drinking coffee on the couch, catching up on girl time, and reading at the beach! We visited North Beach because we had my friend’s puppy with us. He was literally in heaven playing with all the other puppies at the beach. It made me wish Murphy was with us!!

P.s. While we were at this home, my friend and I decided that there NEEDS to be a new feature with Air B&B that you can shop the decor in the home!! I feel like they would make so much money this way?? I’m constantly taking photos of the homes I visit to see if I can replicate the decor at Home Goods. (;
