Hi Friends!

Things are about to feel very festive around Love Inside & Out today and I’m pretty darn happy about it. Last week, my sweet friend Jordan had Katie & me over for a little Holiday wrapping party. It was a really fun way to bond with my two blogger girlfriends while getting in the Christmas spirit! If you need some motivation to get into the holiday spirit, I hope this post can help!! So, turn on your favorite holiday playlist & let’s get into it.

Typically, I’m the person scrambling around at the very last minute trying to get everything together for the holidays. I’m that girl who runs to the mall two days before Christmas… I know, I know, the worst. However, this year I vowed to be different. I’m happy to say that today is December 11th and I have a good portion of my Christmas shopping done, thank goodness! Another thing that’s been helpful (in the gift shopping department) is the fact that my family is going away to Hawaii for Christmas this year. We are only doing small gifts and decided to invest in a family trip instead. Basically, I love everything about this. At the end of the day, the holiday season is about being with family and loved ones.

However, I do love to fill the month of December with as many festive activities as I can. I light my cinnamon scented candle, turn on the tree lights, & take extra time to find gratitude for the people in my life. Something about the Christmas music and all the beautiful decorations always put me in a good mood. I was just telling my friend the other day, if you’re feeling down– turn on your very favorite Christmas song and try not to smile. It’s always easier to have a smile on your face when festive music is playing and all the decorations are up. I love those moments during the holiday season when time seems to slow down a little bit and the word seems just a little more at peace.
