If you follow along over on Instagram, you might have noticed my recent obsession with home decor. We recently moved into our new home and of course I’ve been very into decorating! I love to mix investment items with less expensive items from Target, Home Goods, Amazon and more! I love a good home decor deal find and absolutely believe that you can find some great things at these stores. Some other favorite places to shop for smaller items are Wayfair and World Market.
Below you can find some of the decorative pieces I’ve been shopping and loving.
As far as larger pieces of furniture, we actually just received our Burrow couch in the mail and were SO excited for it to come. If you haven’t heard of Burrow, you probably aren’t a millennial. Haha, JK but actually Burrow has been everywhere lately and for a great reason– they are a super rad company. Essentially what they have done is make it easy to purchase a high-quality but affordable couch. When you buy a Burrow couch, it comes right to your door in boxes, ready to be built. I’ve been describing it to family and friends has the “millennial couch company” because us millennials love having things shipped to our doors, ha! The couch we picked from Burrow is the “Chaise Sofa” in the Crushed Gravel Fabric with Light Wood Legs. In this home we have been going for a more relaxed vibe so we chose the Bohemian Pillow Set. I absolutely love the cream throw blanket and macrame pillow combo!!
For other other furniture additions we also found an authentic farmhouse table and desk from a local designer/ family friend. If you’re a Sonoma County local and interested in her work– she is the project manager for the Blair Spangler Design Group and Owner of Simply I Molina where she sells incredible painted furniture and home accessories.

While I am no home decor expert, I really do love making a house feel like a home! I believe it’s so important to love where you live. No matter if you’re renting or own the place– it is truly so crucial. Just call me Joanna Gaines, jk (I wish).
