My Look: Jeans | Sweater | Shoes | Bag
Hello Beauties!
I hope this week is off to a good start! This weekend was all kinds of relaxing and rejuvenating which was really so needed. Last week I think I spent over 1,000 miles in the car driving up to LA, down to San Diego, and all over the place! Parts of me felt like a chicken with it’s head cut off, HA! It’s safe to say it was a busy week. Not busy in a bad way, just really busy! One of the highlights of my week was attending a blogger event at Kopari headquarters down in La Jolla. One of the highlights of the past month has been working on an upcoming campaign with them that I SERIOUSLY can not wait to share. More details on that to come soon!!
By the time we made it to the weekend, Dylan and I knew we needed some downtime together. On Saturday I stayed in my pj’s until about noon and took care of all those little things around the home that never seem to get done during the week. No better feeling, you know? Saturday night we headed down to Huntington Beach to watch the sunset, sip wine, and try out a new vegan place. When my Mom visited last weekend, she challenged us to start trying more new restaurants around the OC area. She said she noticed that we are creatures of habit and tend to eat at the same few places. What can I say, when I like something I LIKE it! Challenge accepted, we are now attempting to try a new restaurant every week! Healthy food lovers in the OC area, seriously check out Bodhi Tree Cafe. IT WAS SO GREAT & INEXPENSIVE! If you know me, you know I go crazy for great healthy food that is also not too expensive. The place has been open for 14 years, basically before healthy food was “trendy,” which I think is SO cool.
Before this turns into a restaurant review, let’s talk about this outfit! I just received these shoes from Seychelles Footwear and am obsessed with them. I love that they are neutral enough to be worn like booties but have a fun twist with the pointed toe and heel! They are incredibly comfortable so I know I’ll be wearing them often. I paired them with these high waisted Levis that are definitely my favorite pair of jeans at the moment. They too couldn’t be any more comfortable and have the perfect amount of stretch. True to their name “wedgie” they fit in allll the right places, lol.
Finally, this cozy turtleneck! I snagged it for just under $20 and love the colors/ softness of the fabric. Forever 21 has been having the cutest fall clothing options recently, I’ve been really impressed! Make sure to follow along over on Instagram, where I do lots of unboxing stories with all my wellness, beauty, & fashion picks. It’s the best place to stay up to date with the latest and greatest. (; I’ll also be sharing another wellness Wednesday tip tomorrow!
