I’ve been talking about doing this post for a while now on IG stories and I’m excited it’s finally here!
I’ve been gradually integrating more and more natural products into my beauty/ makeup routine and thought it would be helpful to round up some of my favorites for lip care! That being said, I do not have a fully natural beauty routine and I probably won’t ever because I believe in BALANCE. I tend to be a pretty extreme person so for me, it would be anxiety causing to put the label of “always natural” on myself. It just isn’t realistic for me. If it works for you though, mad respect!!
On the other hand, I’m all about incorporating new natural products and am SO PUMPED whenever I find a more natural beauty product that is just as good as the ones with not so healthy ingredients. I use the amazing EWG.org site to search clean products when I’m looking into new purchases. It’s been a really excellent resource for me to see exactly which ingredients aren’t so great. Another note– not all of these lip products have 100% perfect ingredients. I typically will take the overall EWG rating into account when I purchase a new product because, again, I believe in balance. So as always, I recommend doing your own research into clean beauty and I hope that the EWG.org can be a new resource for you (if you aren’t obsessed already)! They also have an app which comes in handy for times (like in the grocery store) when you want to search something quickly.
