Hello my loves!
In honor of turning 30 this month, I wanted to share some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in my last thirty years!! I feel so thankful and excited to be entering my 30’s as I genuinely feel like they are going to be the best years of my life. I’ve been looking forward to turning 30 for so long and now that the birthday has come, it feels even more right. I definitely felt a shift on my birthday which I haven’t had happen on a birthday in a really long time! I go into more depth in the podcast but I genuinely feel like I spent the first five years of my twenties trying to always “change” myself – from fad diets to extreme exercise to excessive partying and dating men that “seemed good on paper”, I was so different than I am now! It took a lot of very challenging times to really learn to love myself from the inside out and then I spend the second half of my twenties really waking up to who I am. I changed SO much in the second half of my twenties- from “waking up” spiritually, to experiencing health issues that I know made me so much wiser and stronger, to letting go of the notion that my life “should” look a certain way. It has been such a wild ride but I feel that all of the ups and downs of my twenties (we all have them) genuinely happened for my highest and best good and I sit here today able to say I genuinely love and accept myself the way I am. On days where I feel my most sparkly and also on days where I feel like a toad (again, we all have them haha).
